Unfortunately, during difficult times, there are individuals that try to take advantage of others during moments of weakness. The Coronavirus Pandemic is no different from many of these events. In the past few weeks, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has seen a large uptick in the number of fraud and scams circulating the United States. These scams can come in many forms, from fake information (cures, treatments, remedies) from what seem like credible sources, to charitable contributions and many more.
